raphaël zarka studied at the winchester school of art and the école nationale supérieure
de beaux-arts in paris. he has exhibited in numerous private and public spaces including,
the museum of modern art, oxford, contemporary art center, chelles and laura bartlett gallery,
london and now Palais de tokyo.
He is a collector of forms, skateboarder / artist raphaël zarka captures the sculptural possibilities of
structures such as a concrete breakwater, unfinished monorail or the unrealized constructions
which litter the urban landscape.

She had her first exhibition in 1959 and she was one of the few artists in Europe who took up the reductionist impulse of Minimal art. in Palais de Tokyo we can see her three-dimensional pictures and the system of square tubes which were an important contribution to the subject of site-specific sculpture in public space.
